Coming off the release of their recent full length comeback, “Born Pink,” and on the cusp of Blackpink’s headlining debut at Coachella 2023, Blackpink and YG Entertainment announced member Jisoo will be making her solo debut with the release of “ME,” a single album released March 31!

Following up member mate Lisa’s “LALISA” solo release, “ME” is shaping up to be a mix of the group’s signature sound and Jisoo’s unique musical style. With the release of Jennie’s 2018 “SOLO” single and Rose’s 2021 “R” solo debut, this upcoming release will complete the group’s solo ventures. Until now, for most Jisoo fans, the BORN PINK, Jisoo Member Version was the closest thing to having a solo album. But the wait is over! Soon, fans will be able to get their hands on Jisoo’s solo debut.

Formed in 2012 as a seven member group, Blackpink would eventually go on to debut in 2016 as a group of four members, Jennie, Lisa, Rose and Jisoo, with the release of “SQUARE ONE,” consisting of hit songs like “WHISTLE” and “BOOMBAYAH.” After a string of mini albums like “SQUARE UP” and “KILL THIS LOVE,” the group would eventually release “THE ALBUM,” their first full length album in 2020. Since then, Blackpink has topped global charts, breaking records in countries all over the globe. Considered to be one of the biggest Girl Groups of all time, Blackpink have managed to pave their own path of success and engrave their status as one of K Pop's most successful acts.
