Shipping Information

As we also have a physical store, so on weekends and holidays, although we are open, we may be busy with our walk-in customers.  We try to ship orders out within 1-3 business days of receiving the order.  So if you place an order on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, it may take us until the following Monday or Tuesday to ship it out as we have less time to process and pack orders on busy weekends.  Thank you for your understanding!

All our packages are insured against loss or damage.  If your package is lost or damaged, please contact us immediately at sales@shopkawaiigifts.com  so we can file a lost or damaged package insurance for your order.  We will prepare the insurance paperwork, however, the insurance company does require an online affidavit (claim verification form) and damage photos for damage claims.

All loss and damage claims must be filed 120 calendar days from the date of shipment.  We can’t take responsibility for any loss or damage claims past 120 days after it’s shipped. Thank you for your understanding!

For damage claims, please contact sales@shopkawaiigifts.com with damage photos ASAP.  If the box appears to be damaged, please include a photo of the box damage as well.

For lost claims, there is a 20-day waiting period for US domestic packages, and a 40-day waiting period for international packages.  If the package is considered stolen after it’s been delivered, the insurance company may require the package recipient to file a police report and provide the policy report with a report number to assist the insurance company to process the claim. 

Incomplete or incorrect shipping information is not covered by shipping insurance.

Flat Rate USA Shipping

  • $9 standard shipping. One easy flat rate for anywhere in the US. All orders are protected and insured against loss, damage and theft. Please reach out to sales@kawaiigifts.com if there is an issue with your order delivery.  
 

Free Local Pickup During Our Store Hours

When you order an item online and select in-store pickup, the pickup window is 7 days after the order has been fulfilled. If you (or a representative) do not pick up your order within the seven day period, your order will be canceled

    Sales Tax

    • Pennsylvania shipping locations and local pickups: We are required to collect a 6% Pennsylvania State Sales Tax, and a 1% Allegheny County Sales Tax.

    International Shipping

    We do ship outside the US. 

    Destination countries may access additional duties and/or customs fee that the recipient is responsible for. Please inquire with your country's rules and regulations.
