I was inspired by the adolescent feeling that nothing can harm you; the adrenaline rush from crippling bike stunts and jumping off cliffs into the sea, not realising the danger until years later.
Without wanting to indulge in nostalgia, but acknowledging the designs and characters that surrounded me as a kid – using the visual shorthand from the icons and costumes of stunt performers, circus acrobats and obscure aliens from sci-fi serials to show these guys as incarnations of fearlessness.” – JPK

Livestream shopping is a live video feature in the Kawaii Gifts app! Every Thursday at 7 pm Eastern Standard Time, we run a live video stream for two hours from our shop in Pittsburgh, during which viewers can make purchases, send comments and questions in our chat, and save products to wishlists. If you miss our livestream, you can always watch the past livestreams directly in our app as well. With the "closet" feature indicated by a clothes hanger button in the past streams, you can browse the products that were featured live and select them to cut ahead in the stream to view when they appeared. Our app is available to download for free from the Google Play and Apple App stores.
